Recipe for sugar candy cactus biscuits

You need:
  • 500 grams of flour
  • 150 grams of sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 grams of margarine
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Flour for rolling out
For decoration:
  • powdered sugar
  • lemon juice
  • Green food color
  • Black food color

Here's how:
From the ingredients a shortcrust manufacture and knead well. In cling film wrap and refrigerate at least one hour. This is the best way to make the biscuits.

If you do not have a cactus cutter, simply cut a template. Place the template on the dough and cut the biscuits with a sharp knife. The colder and stronger the dough is, the better the biscuits can be punched out.
Place the biscuits on a baking tray covered with baking paper. Preheat oven to 175 degrees and bake the biscuits in about 15 minutes. Leave to cool for a few minutes after baking.

The sugar candy ornament

Mix the icing sugar and the lemon juice to make a pouring. Half of the sugar is dyed with green food color. Fill the casting into a spray bag with a small hole sleeve and decorate the biscuits evenly. Then let the cookies dry for at least 30 minutes.

Pour the remaining sugar into black and pour into a spray bag with a very small perforated sleeve. Different patterns and details to splash on the cookies. Leave cookies to dry for a few hours, preferably overnight.
Align the finished cactus biscuits on a cake plate or plate. The mini-cacti also look particularly beautiful in small, clean flower heads. This enchants every coffee table immediately into a desert landscape. Great eyes are guaranteed.

In reference to the article on Facebook, I wrote that this year I have made it my job to read a book every week and you are the beneficiaries of this project because of my reading, of course, many books on the subject of independence.
