In the profession: How serious must it be?


Women in leadership positions or those who want to get there as a graduate still do not find it easy to be serious and competent. Men have it with their business outfit aka suit lighter. But with a little basic knowledge about the effect of externalities one can influence its effect easily.


Hair and makeup

In the make-up, however, an exaggerated "war-painting" is not very serious. If you can afford it and feel good, you can also do the work day without any make-up. Against a discreet and largely natural makeup is however nothing objection. If you get a sweat on a stressful day, you can counteract the skin gloss by a good powder.

Clothing style = expression of personality

For the office, it is worth investing in high-quality fabrics and well-fitting cuts. After all, you are also a representative of the company in a higher position. A noble trouser suit is a basic element for the right business wear. But it does not have to be boring and conservative.
After all, you should not abandon your own personality completely. A few colorful accessories and beautiful jewelery according to your individual taste testify to style, class and, last but not least, assertiveness and competence. It is important to find a healthy mediocre between personal preferences and valid dresscode.

Conclusion:

Even in professional life, it is not a matter of "dressing" for common stereotypes and social expectations. Nevertheless, woman has to adapt a little bit in order to be able to maintain a "leadership position" in the men's domain.

In reference to the article on Facebook, I wrote that this year I have made it my job to read a book every week and you are the beneficiaries of this project because of my reading, of course, many books on the subject of independence.
